Sorry it has been awhile since I have posted and therfore Christy has been "on my back" trying to get me to update the blog for weeks now. We have done several snowshoe hikes over the past couple of months and a couple of Snowbasin hikes. But to say the least, here are a few photo's from our hike along the shoreline trail above Layton and Kaysville yesterday. The weather was perfect for a long hike. We did only about 5 miles round trip. It never drizzled a drop and stayed cloudy for most of the hike.

The picture above shows the trail going into Adams Canyon. One of Christy's favorite local hikes. This will also be the location of a quick overnight backpack trip for me next week. I am in training again this year for another big hike! I only have six weeks to prepare so I am hitting it hard! I plan to do several hikes after work and try to do a backpack trip here and there. The big hike is not what I have been talking about over the past couple of months. I have the opportunity to climb.......

Till next time enjoy these few pics. I promise I will have something better soon so Christy can "get off my back" about keeping the blog updated! If anyone wants to do a small evening hike after work let me know. There are plenty of places close and easy to access. It will be fun. Plus the opportunity to hike with me! (or walk if you choose, I am game for either).
